This year’s Summer Reading Program, Tails and Tales, begins on June 1 and runs through August 15. Summer reading is again available online at Beanstack. With reading challenges for all ages, everyone can join in the fun! This year we also have a full calendar of virtual programming. We know summertime can provide tremendous opportunities for kids to accelerate reading, to experience the social-emotional impact of good literature and stories, and to make up for any lost learning time as access to instruction and reading has had to be completely rethought due to the pandemic. 
Motivate, monitor, and manage both independent and close reading practice for higher reading growth.
