We hope you join us for Red Ribbon Week at Shenandoah Elementary. Today students wore their crazy socks because we are committed to "Sock it to Drugs!" Below is the schedule for the rest of the week: Tuesday - "Friends don't let friends do drugs" - Twin Day Wednesday - "Too Cool for Drugs" - red shirt, sunglasses, uniform bottoms Thursday - "Too bright for drugs!" - wear a neon shirt and uniform bottoms Friday - "Follow your dreams not drugs" - wear school appropriate pajamas The students in Mrs. Duet's third grade class used domain-specific vocabulary words to jog their memory on past content from Wit and Wisdom. What a fun, engaging, interactive activity! Some students in Mrs. Riley-Latino's 2nd grade class complete a science activity modeling how birds eat berry seeds to help with seed dispersion while others locate places on a ball globe. The reading centers are always very popular as students take their learning to the next level! We have a book fair scheduled for 9/26/2022-10/4/2022.
